MAGNUS MAHAPRASTHANAM

KOKKIRALA PREM SAGAR RAO, S/o. K. RAGHUPATHI RAO (Born on 21-09-1960) from Mancherial, Telangana, India, has created a tremendous record by guiding and leading a team to bring Magnus MAHAPRASTHANAM, located on the banks of river Godavari (Mancherial ) to reality in a flash time of 103 days. It is the fastest constructed and operated crematorium under Municipal Administration Department (Telangana State). Mancherial Municipal Corporation Team along with 150 labours under the dynamic leadership of PREM SAGAR RAO made it happen. MAHAPRASTHANAM is spread over 4 acres of space, out of which 70% of the space is dedicated for greenery with magnificent SHIVA statue of 22ft erected at the centre. Mahaprasthanam is India’s ecofriendly maintained HINDU CREMATORIUM which is capable of generating 240 units of electricity per day using solar panels. Smrithi Vanam with 500+ plants of 9 different types is attached next to it. This achievement has been entered into International Wonder book of records.
